At present there is an urgent problem of high-rise building fire protection in many cities of the world. To solve this problem a helicopter may be used fitted with a firefighting system. A helicopter is able to arrive at the fire site very quickly escaping traffic jams and begin fire suppression immediately.

A jet range allows a helicopter to keep within a safe distance from the wall of the building, and its high velocity allows to direct the jet deep into the burning room.

A helicopter should be employed to suppress fires in high-rise buildings and structures, at automobile roads and railroads, in mountain forest areas, etc.
